LAPITEC CHEF is operated by dual cooking mats equipped with magnetic sensors. When placed on the workbench, it interacts with the inducer below the top and activates touch control and system, with a total of four cooking areas also in bridging mode. When the mat is removed, the sensing device and control device - the only visible device detail on the LAPITEC stove, as well as the small carving indicating the placement of the mat - remain inactive, ensuring maximum safety even in the presence of children.

LAPITEC CHEF is compatible with all cookware suitable for induction cookers. The cooking mat is made of black food grade silicone, with surface patterns that enhance its performance and can be washed in a dishwasher. After removal, it allows silicon dioxide to freely and fully sintered stone kitchen countertops - customizable in all available colors and finishes of the LAPITEC series. Therefore, countertops can be used for preparing food, serving dishes, and even serving as dining areas, thanks to their non porous, non absorbent surfaces that are resistant to chemical reagents and temperature changes, and NSF certified food areas that can come into contact with food.
